Wish List

My Mum always says to me "your always on the want" and its true, I am. Since Christmas is only a short while away I thought I would share with you come of the things that are on my wish list...

 Minnetonka Moccasins

What better career to have then traveling and taking photos along the way and getting paid for it, I know its not quiet that simple but it still sounds like my dream career!!

I have to admit its Rumi Neely that's the culprit for this one being on my wish list. Ive always loved wearing hats, but when she wears hats they look amazing.

Mimco Bag... Ok so I have to admit there is a couple of styles on my list. They are one of my favourite Australian accssessory brands, and the recently opened a store in Auckland!
Karen Walker Super Fine Skull Necklace
 Mac Book Pro

Taste of Auckland

Ive been back from Thailand now for almost 2 weeks, and since then have been focusing all my attentions on Uni work, as the year is coming to an end (this is why there hasn't been posting for a while). But this weekend I treated myself to a fun day with friends at the Taste of Auckland festival. Although it wasn't amazing weather for a day outdoors it was still a fun day full of food sampling and a bit of wine tasting and paint-by-number!

Thailand photos coming soon!!!

NZFW 2010

This year I had the opportunity to photograph NZ Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to have access to all of the show, which meant I was able to view and photograph some of my favorite NZ designer.
One of my favorite shows of the week was the Ruby show, not only were the clothes amazing, but the layout of the show and the fabulous use of seating and fur.

Another definite highlight of the week was getting to meet one of my top style icons, fellow blogger Rumi Neely from Fashion Toast, looking fabulous as always, this photo was snapped at the Twenty Seven Names, seated next to front row diary's Anna Fitzpatrick.

It's A New Day

Hey everyone!!
Welcome to my blog.

Today was my first day back form holidays at uni, and to keep in the theme of all things new, I have started a blog. Simply, my blog will be about all the things that I love, fashion, clothes, photography, travel and all things that inspire me.
Let me start with a little about myself... around a year and 5 months ago I found myself moving to New Zealand after a month and a half of travelling around South East Asia. It was the first time I had been traveling alone without my family and I fell in love with it. I met so many amazing people and had the most amazing experiences and didn't want it to end. When I was given the opportunity to move to New Zealand, I thought, what have I got to lose? My family and friends will always be back home there for me, and home was only a 3 hour flight if I wanted to go back.  So I did it. Since then I've established myself, getting a job as a sales assistant, studying photography and living my life and have.. more or less.. enjoyed every minute. There is one person to credit most of this to and that is my amazing boyfriend. Sorry guys.. I know that may sound soppy and cliche but its true :P
To begin my first post and help to get to know me, I thought i'd show you inside my bag!
Mimco Purse- I find my self changing back and forth between a normal wallet with all the compartments and this coin purse which fits all the necessary card and money, as its easier to carry and a lot more compact.
Mimco Keyring- Im not one to carry something around with me if its not absolutely necessary, so all I have on my key chain is my house key and my car key.
Lucus Pawpaw Ointment- I use it for my lips as a lip balm and it makes the shiny at the same time.
My Phone- I don't know what I would do without my phone, not only for keeping in touch with people but I use it as my personal planner and am forever writing notes to myself.. I have a terrible memory!
Furry Key Charm- Is from the Ruby Fashion show, from NZ Fashion Week.

Today I wore my new shirt from Topshop, and decided to go with a kind of 70's hippie feel and added my hair band with feather and my moccasin boots... and voila todays outfit :)

Shirt- Topshop at The Department Store
Hair band from Equip
Boots from a shoe shop back home in Australia
